Why replace

What changes when the windows do.

Old aluminum and wood windows leak heat, stick, rot and need paint. Here’s what our customers notice after the install.

  1. 01

    Lower fuel bills

Insulated glass and tight-sealing vinyl frames keep the heat you pay for inside in January and the humidity out in August.

  2. 02

    No more scraping and painting

Solid vinyl is colored all the way through. No peeling paint, no rotting sills, no storm windows to swap each season — just a damp cloth now and then.

  3. 03

    A quieter, less drafty house

A full interlock where the sashes meet and a gas-filled glass unit cut down on drafts and on the noise coming in from the street.

  4. 04

    More value in the home

Since 1985 this has been the whole point: new windows that make a Long Island home easier to live in and worth more when it’s time to sell.

Our windows

Inside every Parco window.

We specialize in one thing: insulated vinyl replacement windows. Here’s what you’re paying for.

  • 1

    Solid vinyl frame & sash

Color runs through the material, so scratches don’t show and the frame never needs paint. It won’t absorb moisture, swell or rot the way wood does.

  • 2

    Custom-sized to your opening

Each window is made to fit the opening you already have — far less carpentry inside and out, and you keep all of your glass area.

  • 3

    Low-E glass

A microscopic coating reflects heat and blocks the UV rays that fade floors, furniture, drapes and woodwork.

  • 4

    Argon gas fill

A safe, inert gas sealed between the panes adds insulating value and helps quiet the room.

  • 5

    Interlocking meeting rail

Where the upper and lower sashes meet, a full interlock stops air leaks and adds a barrier against forced entry.

How it works

From first call to final install — one crew.

No handoffs to strangers. The company you call is the company that measures, builds to size and installs.

  1. 1

    Call or send a request

Tell us about the house and how many windows you’re thinking about. We’ll set a time that works for you.

  2. 2

    In-home consultation

We measure every opening, walk you through styles and glass options, and give you a straight price.

  3. 3

    Made to measure

Your windows are built to the exact size of each opening — no oversized trim, no shrinking your glass.

  4. 4

    Installed & warrantied

Our crew installs every window, and the work is backed by our lifetime warranty on the product and the labor.

Lifetime warranty. On the window — and on the work.

Most warranties stop at the product. Ours covers the installation too. We’re fully licensed and bonded, and we carry workers’ compensation and liability insurance on every job.

Window questions

Straight answers before you buy.

The questions homeowners ask us most. Don’t see yours? We’re happy to talk it through.

What material makes the best replacement window?

Aluminum frames conduct heat and cold and scratch easily. Wood looks great but needs constant painting and caulking, and it can absorb moisture, stick and eventually rot. Solid vinyl never needs paint, hides scratches because the color goes all the way through, and insulates well — which is why it’s become the most popular choice for replacement windows.

Why custom-sized windows instead of stock sizes?

Stock sizes rarely match an older home’s openings, so they mean extra carpentry inside and out — more cost and more mess. A custom-sized window is made to fit the opening you already have, so you get the style you want and keep your full glass area.

Can I change window styles when I replace them?

Yes. Replacement doesn’t mean you’re locked into what’s there now. We’ll talk through which styles suit the architecture of your house, and every unit is made to order for its opening.

What matters more for energy savings — the frame or the glass?

The glass. Roughly 80% of a window is glass, so the real heating and cooling savings come from glass performance: Low-E coatings, argon gas fill and a warm-edge spacer between the panes. A high R-value on the frame alone won’t tell you much.

How much maintenance do vinyl windows need?

Almost none. No painting, no caulking, no storm windows to take down. You can clean them from inside the house, and an occasional wipe with a damp cloth keeps them looking new.

What does your warranty cover?

Our work carries a lifetime warranty — not only on the windows themselves but on our installation as well. We’ll walk you through the printed warranty terms at your consultation.
